Violet turned 1 last Friday and we had just a very small collection of friends over to celebrate… as much fun as a 1 year old with a 7:30 bedtime can have. We grilled steaks, had mac and cheese (Violet’s favorite) and Sheila made cupcakes. The pumpkin painting was a highlight… although my plaid one was terribly ugly. It got painted over, needless to say!
She got a few gifts… including an iPhone (toy), rubber blocks, a couple books.
And to end the fun, she had a big round of shots this morning (she’s still a little mad about that).
Overall, it was a great birthday and she really (really) loves cake a lot….
…until she puked in her crib and had to have another bath.
