So wow. What is life like these days for the Ideus household? Well… you may expect me to say ‘we are so super busy and life is crazy and we don’t know if we’re coming or going.’ But actually… life is pretty great. Sure–we could use more family time and date nights, but overall we are pretty much living the dream. Violet’s in daycare M-W-F… we get to have our mommy-daughter days on T-Th and the weekends (I’m trying my HARDEST) to reserve for family now that the cabin is finished (pics to come soon). My Wildtree business has become a bigger player in our lives. Its strange to say it, but I feel like I can make such a bigger impact with families on nutrition and meal planning than I feel with photography right now. Not to mention leaving a bigger legacy for me and my family… so photography has taken a backseat at the moment. I guess that’s the beauty of being your own boss, right? Ultimate flexibility. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
We leave today for Utah for a week to raft with Dad (Violet will be staying with Grandma Barb, which she is totally PSYCHED for).
