summer stylin’

i don’t know if it’s the rain and muddy dog prints; the fact that our backyard is full of construction guys and mud; or if I had extra energy to burn…but my mom would be so proud! I gave the swifter wet a day off and scrubbed our entire floor on my hands and knees! um…. elbow grease. it’s underrated. our floor has seriously never looked so good. not even after installation. guess I’ll be doing that again. I have such pride in our floor now : )  I’m all for show and tell. and I scattered a few vintage items i found hangin out in the basement. they all remind me of summer. enjoy our summer home tour!

these rocks feel beachy to me— and our house used to be occupied by an old elementary school teacher. She loved science from what we can tell—and she had a big rock collection in the attic.

JUST AHEAD sign: Blue Rose Antiques  for a STEAL! it came with another sign… which I purchased both for $100. I only wanted this one, so I sold the unwanted Mobil oil sign to our dealer here in Wahoo for $150. : ) I actually made money on that deal. sweeeeet.
