My good friend stopped in Wahoo on their Summer vacation to surprise her husband with some shots of their babies.

The sweetest kiddos ever.

these images were taken in the oh-so-peaceful nap time hours.

Oh this Summer. I feel 100% blessed and I start and end my day with GRATITUDE and JOY. (trying really hard to remember to take a moment and do that, anyway)

I am blessed to be my own boss… stay home with Violet part time and not miss anything with her.

This week she started sleeping in a toddler bed and it’s a total God thing that I happened to photograph nap time on the very last day she ever slept in her crib. #tear

Happy Friday, people.

So wow. What is life like these days for the Ideus household?  Well… you may expect me to say ‘we are so super busy and life is crazy and we don’t know if we’re coming or going.’ But actually… life is pretty great. Sure–we could use more family time and date nights, but overall we are pretty much living the dream.  Violet’s in daycare M-W-F… we get to have our mommy-daughter days on T-Th and the weekends (I’m trying my HARDEST) to reserve for family now that the cabin is finished (pics to come soon).  My Wildtree business has become a bigger player in our lives. Its strange to say it, but I feel like I can make such a bigger impact with families on nutrition and meal planning than I feel with photography right now. Not to mention leaving a bigger legacy for me and my family… so photography has taken a backseat at the moment.  I guess that’s the beauty of being your own boss, right?  Ultimate flexibility. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

We leave today for Utah for a week to raft with Dad (Violet will be staying with Grandma Barb, which she is totally PSYCHED for). But as a heads up… my first available sessions are now end of September into October. So if you would like to get the ball rolling on penciling a date, just let me know. Use the contact tab up top!

Happy Summer,

Stacy

Question: how many digital images do you have in mind that you need to get printed one of these days?

My guess is it’s well over 100. Could even be over 1,000. Let alone get them in an album.

What do you think would happen if your beloved photographer could just take care of that for you so you didn’t have to stress, think, or carry that nagging feeling around with you everyday?

Meet my albums. I love these dudes.

They are beautiful, custom, and full of your loves. They are what your grandchildren will prize and cherish.

Nifty and the price will surprise you.

Contact me today if you’re due for a capture.

My VERY best and favorite offering when I photograph a wedding is that of the album.

The reason is because no matter what happens in life after the chaos of the wedding day (settling into your new home, returning borrowed items and surplus wedding gifts, tackling those thank you notes, enjoying not having to plan something, etc…) at the very least you have a GORGEOUS already completed heirloom album for your future generations to touch, feel and look at to know the joy of your wedding day. The day you anticipated for your whole life. The day you spent a boat load on. The day you want to cherish the rest of your days.

Included in every wedding package is a gorgeous album.

If you or someone you know has a busy life and is getting married, shoot me a message. These are too pretty to not see in person.
