We don’t have long spans of relaxing time on the weekends in the Ideus household. Oh, no. You probably wouldn’t ever catch us sleeping in… catching up on DVR… napping on and off for hours.
The way we spend our weekends (this last one, in particular) is to jam pack in as much as we possibly can………. just for fun and to completely exhaust ourselves. I don’t think I’m alone when I am desperate for weekends to be 3 days instead of just a measly 2. Who’s with me?!
ANYWAY…. after a crazy (but fun) weekend in Beatrice looking at our recently purchased land to build our very own cabin (!!!), celebrating TWO different family birthdays, and working on our rental property, was the studio tours yesterday in Omaha. So above are pictures from that. 5 studios in 5 hours with an after party with brats + beer at Rockbrook! Woot! Got to try some beer I had never had before… once called “Porch Rocker” by Boulevard. Delicious!
And I can’t believe amongst the long list of things we achieved, we still managed to sneak in a movie date and I got a mani and a pedi with my mom. <3 So I can say it was well-rounded.
