ppn educational monday

Professional Photographers of Nebraska hosts from time to time an Educational Monday. These are 1 day workshops for members given by either a local Nebraska photographer or a WPPI/PPA affiliated speaker. Last week, I attended my first one at The Boiler Room Studios in Omaha and Chuck Arlund was our guy. He is an acclaimed fashion photographer out of Kansas City and Nashville and taught us about lighting and all his tricks for awesome high fashion portraits. We had 4 very diverse models come in and sit for us… that was the funnest part. That… and watching Chuck be crazy. He is a very interesting and entertaining guy. And he kind of looks like Jeff Daniels from the movie Dumb & Dumber, agree?  It was a really hot, windy day and we were all too beat to party too hard (and it was MONDAY), but we found some energy to try a new pizza place called Baxter’s in Benson. Very delish. Chuck liked all us blonde Nebraska girls.
