i’m back! and what crappy weather came to kearney last week! bleh. i had to reschedule a few and man-up for a couple, but on the flip side i got a lot of 1:1 time with my aunt and i got to sit on an actual sofa and watch CABLE! something i’ve missed since this renovation started! another six weeks and we should be back to a normal house. kitchen cabinets were installed while i was gone and they look fabulous! now the tricky decision that i am teetering on…. dark Vs. light countertops (with our white cabinets) suggestions??? i so need help on this.

can you tell drew works in fashion??? she brought uh-mazing clothes for them to wear…not to mention cool props like the fishing gear, nate’s guitar (who plays beautifully!), and the colorful quilt from anthro. love. these guys are very thoughtful, fun-loving, and sweet on eachother. and youth inspires their love daily. see, nate is the youth pastor at new life assembly in kearney, which is how he met drew. ….wait—-that sounds bad… she was helping with the youth…not one of them! haha but even proposed before the kids and they’ve been busy wedding planning ever since. can’t wait for your wedding day!
Jacki Franzen - Beautiful pictures! Oh….and the countertops….if you happen to have an island, I would mix it up and go with light on the regular cabinets and dark on the island (gives it more of a furniture/table look).
