Becky - RAOK! We have been working on that at our hospital! I have found I have slacked a little on this though. Over the holidays, I would pay for the car behind me in the drive-thru, or I would make sure carts weren’t roaming the parking lots. RAOK’s make me feel good, so I try to do it as a surprise. I don’t need the recognition. I just want to make someone’s day that much better! I knew someone who had something very unexpected happen to her, so I provided her with some clothing and such. She found out it was me, and I received the nicest Thank You card from her. That made my day!ReplyCancel

Sheila Dokulil - Let’s see… 3 things recently… I recently served dinner at a homeless shelter. I shared my last piece of chocolate cake with my toddler. (That’s huge.) And I’m in the planning stages of a church benefit for a friend’s mom.

Sara - It’s fun to see how random acts of kindness spread with 7 and 8 year olds…..I try to do something random everyday. Yesterday I held the button on the water fountain for all my students when they got back from P.E. Today they would randomly hold it for their classmates. Hopefully these things flow over into their everyday lives…..imagine the possibilities!ReplyCancel
