interview with Drew

ahh!! i’m back in Nebraska~ and oh, what an epically FUN trip it was. I’ll post in the next day or two… but now, a fun post about my cousin!

my cousin Drew and I used to get into trouble if we were left unattended at Grandma’s too long….but boy we had a good time. i feel sorry for that frog, though.

I’m cousin No. 2 and he’s cousin No. 3…and luckily got the creative genes in the family.  we share a love for photography and spiritual guidance for our little God son Riggs (see pics from his last birthday party HERE).  and don’t you think he looks exactly like a cross between Hugh Grant and Seth Meyers off SNL??  anyway…

i’m on an interview kick lately… here’s my interview with Drew!

Stacy: Favorite place you’ve lived and why?

DREW: San Fran. Killer view! And walking distance to stores and stuff.

Stacy: Do you wish that all girls were California girls??

DREW: NO! Quite the contrary… too many vegetarians and too much politics.

Stacy: I know you dabble in photography. What’s the photo you’re most proud of taking?

DREW:I took it November 1st in Chicago when I was in town for a client
meeting staying near Lake Michigan. Lost my view of the lake at night
so decided to play around with my camera and watch the traffic!

Stacy: Favorite thing about your job? (he’s the manager of client development for Research NOW)

DREW: The ability to work from anywhere with an internet connection. Including the beach!

Stacy: If you could only have 1 brand of shoes the rest of your life, what brand?

DREW: Asics Kayanu’s. They’re the most comfortable. It’s like running with pillows on your feet.

Stacy: Your mom, Sue, is an art teacher and one of my favorite aunts. What the most embarrassing thing your mom did growing up?

DREW: When I asked for an authentic KC Chiefs jersey for Christmas and I got a KC Chiefs t-shirt from Wal Mart. haha

Stacy: Favorite place to grab coffee?

DREW: The closest place. I’m not a coffee snob!

Stacy: Place you would like to live (all expenses paid) for 3 months…

DREW: FIJI islands would be sweet. Every time I see an advertisement of a bungalow at the end of a dock, I think that’s what Fiji is like.

Stacy: Would you rather suck on a frozen dog nugget for 30 seconds or lick all the bugs off an 18-wheeler after a long haul?

DREW: ew. the dog one. shorter time commitment.

Stacy: Who was the last celebrity you saw?

DREW: John C. Reilly! A few weeks ago, I was out for a run and he was coming out of the LACMA wearing a tuxedo and a top hat.
