What a great week! I finally upgraded my 50mm lens to a 1.2 L and I have yet to take my first image with it, but plan to right after I type this blog post : ).
I have a couple shoots tomorrow (yay for AMAZING weather) then onto Mahoney for our annual PPN Board of Directors Retreat. It’s 2 days of meetings with some shenanigans in between. See the video from last year’s. It was my first year being a board member and they hazed me. They told me I had to sleep outside and to bring waterproof shoes and a sleeping bag. Jerks. lol
Seriously, though, reflecting back on my year as a director on the PPN BOD, I have never had a closer group of friends in all my life. We just get each other, we have enormous amounts of fun, and underneath it all we are all just artists who love what we do and feel so passionately and so strongly about the profession that we will do anything to protect it.
