Sue Jimerson -Hi, I liked your FB page quite a while ago as I loved your photography. I was SHOCKED to see Karen’s picture today. I was working at UNMC as an ultrasound tech and helped teach her. I left UNMC five years ago so I didn’t realize that she was sick. I am just sick about it. The picture of all of you together is how I remember her. Can you give me her married name now as I would like to look up her caring bridge site and send something. My gosh, she can’t even be 30. So sorry for your loss. She was special. She always used to take drinks of my soda without asking. She made me laugh so hard.
stacy-Sue… Karen (Baumann) Shea. Her husband’s name is Justin. She will be missed by so many.ReplyCancel
Robert E Kugler-I had commonly wondered how Karen’s health was doing lately….and unfortunately last night I found out. I’m so glad that someone shared this amazing album on FaceBook, as it let me get to know “who she became.”
Becky Schernikau -I had NO idea that Karen was even sick. Christy told me about it and told me about your pics. I am so glad she got these taken when she did. They are beautiful, the story is beautiful with a very sad ending and Stacy you did a wonderful job!! It is just shocking to know that she is gone. I’m praying for her family, especially those 2 special men in her life.ReplyCancel
