It happened! And it was fun. I’m writing this as the one and only Marilyn Monroe. (kiss kiss) and my date? Mrs. Doubtfire. She unfortunately burned her boobies just before we arrived (you know the scene….) it was so much fun preparing for our costumes. And of course, the blow-torching of Ryan’s bosom was just the best….

down at the pet rescue, we feel so blessed to get some very generous donations — some from anonymous folks, some from sweet people who just love their town, and also from the middle schoolers who had a contest to see whose homeroom could raise the most funds (they actually donated over $1,000!). The Oscar Party was last Sunday night and what a great time. Over $3K was raised to benefit Saunders County Lost Pets, which goes to vet bills, utilities, supplies, etc… so thankful that our community loves and supports the rescue.
