My first Wahoo wedding! It was so strange to be there and back home after in under 5 minutes. I kinda loved it. I’m so used to traveling at least an hour one way to photograph a wedding, which just adds significant time to my schedule. It was such a relaxing day… a 10 am ceremony outdoors at Spencer Hill Cabin at Lake Wanahoo.
Carrie is so sweet and sincere… she does marketing at the Lied Center and is a creative one, herself. And Gunnar…. well, he hates having his photo taken (so he says) but I think he may secretly like it! He is so photogenic! I was so jealous of their guests… bloody marys, an amazing live band, and pizza’s made right there in an outdoor oven. My kinda way to spend a Saturday.
each paddle was hand painted by Carrie! So colorful and fun…
Carrie wore her mother’s wedding gown… re vamped to suit. It was perfect for her.
and Carrie’s ‘harem’ … all lovely ladies…
I’m not so sure what was so funny, but they laughed the whole walk down the aisle!
