a few weeks ago I helped my buddy, Mona, as a second shooter for Ben and Callan’s wedding in Norfolk! I gotta tell ya…. I kinda liked it! no stress; no planning; just show up and shoot. Kind of like a wedding photographer’s summer camp. With cheesecake. : ) Luckily we got lost on the way to the art museum where the wedding was….because we stumbled upon a beautiful meadow of wildflowers! ok… i think it’s maybe an insane asylum-turned abandoned campus…but still! Being the kind spirits that our B & G were, they total let us drag everyone there to bake basque in the sun. We just loved shooting at their reception venue, too. Natural light, rustic charm, live music. perfecto. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Collins! you had superb taste in all the details.
