baby shin at six months

i love families that are bursting with personality. : )  cheryl and steve live in omaha and we met at our mutual friends wedding in 2007 (or 2006? correct me if i’m wrong, tara! haha). cheryl and ryan (my husband) were both in the wedding, while steve and I were not. not to say that we didn’t party on the bus like rockstars! but anyway…it’s been a true joy to watch their family grow and I feel so blessed to capture it! baby gwenyth is soft and fluffy and sweet. i could have photographed her all the day long. i love that we did their shoot downtown, too. the light was coming over the buildings at the most perfect angle. one of buildings in this particular alley is owned by the bank my husband works for…. so i feel a little entitlement to shoot there. ; )
