adjusting to baby

we hit the baby jackpot (so far)

Violet is such a mellow, relaxed baby. And I’m so glad that my friend Mollie recommended I read this book while I was pregnant. I owe a lot of our ease to it I think. She only cries when she’s wet or hungry… and she gives us very distinct cries to communicate which she needs.

And we still can’t get over all her hair.

uggh! I was supposed to get my hair cut and colored the day she was born and the day these pics were taken, my roots were waaaaaaaaaay overdue. I couldn’t WAIT to get into the salon! I had a chance while my mom was here, luckily.
