To photograph a wedding has grown into one of my greatest joys as a professional photographer. I’m touched that my clients, who more and more begin as complete strangers, let me into one of the most intimate, personal, and monumental day of their lives. Of course as much time as we spend together in pre-wedding meetings, engagement photo shoots, and the day itself we end as great friends. It’s been a fabulous year as the 2014 Wedding Photographer of the Year… and I get to keep my trophy a few months longer this year because we moved our conference from January to March this year. hehe Not that I sleep with it, or anything (it’s really sharp on top), but I do enjoy admiring it on the shelf above my desk. And who knows…. maybe my name will wind up on it again in the future?? : ) [sorry about the incredibly fast moving images at the top of this post… it’s a little strobe-ish and seizure-inducing. just scroll down if it’s giving you a headache]
Anyway… here’s just a few of my favorite wedding moments from 2014. Looking for these I now realize that my favorites are tough Daddys reduced to tears seeing their baby girls in their wedding gowns. Gets me every time. Getting geared up to shoot my 2015 weddings!
