Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend. We got a TON done on the house again! Thanks to Dad… we call him ‘The Machine.” He can work circles around us! Probably because he knows what he’s doing. He can do in his sleep what takes us 30 minutes to figure out. There is no way on earth we could ever repay him. Still theres lots to do before Winter comes… paint a piece of door trim, install new patio doors to the backyard (yay!!! no more letting the school traffic see me in my nightie in the morning when Tyson takes his first pee!), and not to mention actual GRASS, sprinklers, a sidewalk, and landscaping! We were able to come in way under budget on our patio doors so we’re able to landscape this year yet. So excited!!
So here’s what I/WE did last week:
regular girls lunch… Happy B day Megan!
Went to Marks and they know the perfect portions for lunching ladies.
and of course, there was vino.
our new sleep number bed came! We’ve had it almost a week and my number is 35.
Tyson is an only child now. I often find him looking for something.
We need to get him some of his own toys.

They live up the street and we vowed to golf more often until it snows.
so Saturday was STUPID hot. But we tailgated, anyway.
The only thing that made it worthwhile was this jalapeño popper dip I made and these 3 guys from England got drunk and partied with us. Jolly good fun!
Hank and Tyson got to stay in AC. Jealous.
worked on the house. filling nail holes, again. always my job.
we have awesome friends. we got so many sweet cards after Toby died. : (
